E-Recruitment has become the primary communication and marketing tool used for recruiting and enrolling prospective employees and students Uses the tools of the internet along with databases and content delivery methods to cater to applicant demands quickly.

Problems with the technology Difficulties in tailoring e-recruitment systems to meet the particular needs of their recruitment process. Problems with having to simultaneously operate both online and off-line systems, and a lack of integration of e-recruitment systems and existing systems. Acceptability to a broad spectrum of applicants.

Design as candidate friendly online processes Consider user perspective Accepting applications in some cases through other methods. Research on service providers, such as applicant tracking system providers and vendors of online assessment tools Relevant and objective online screening and assessment tools Look at how advanced/developed your e-recruitment practices are in relation to other organizations and will help them identify where their e-recruitment strategy needs to be further developed Honest internal evaluation of strengths and weaknesses, campus objectives, your mission as it relates to your community, and any other external factors
