4. The farmer runs the farm. The farmer minds all the animals on his farm. He feeds them and looks after them. The farmer grows vegetables. The farmer drives the tractor.

7. The Sheep The sheep has wool. In the summer, the farmer shears the wool off of the sheep, so it will not get too hot. The wool is used to make clothes. A baby sheep is called a lamb.

9. Horses Horses live on a farm. Horses sleep in a shed called a stable. Horses wear horse shoes on their feet. The farmer rides the horse.
