6.  Reason # 2 – The cross is the drawing power that leads men to the Savior. The cross of Christ restored that companionship. The cross of Christ bridged the gap between man and God. When we concern ourselves with what we can and can’t do and still go to Heaven, we miss the whole point of the cross. 6
