Clean emissions vehicles -- Alternative fuel vehicles. “…the division shall ensure that 50% or more of new or replacement division-owned state vehicles…used for the transportation of passengers are motor vehicles with emissions that are equal to or cleaner than the standards established in bin 2 in Table S04-1…or any vehicle propelled…using one of the following alternative fuels: (1)electricity from an off-board source; (2)natural gas; (3)liquid petroleum gas; (4)hydrogen; or (5)biodiesel” Senator Scott K. 3.Will reduce both tailpipe and evaporative emissions. 4.The new gasoline sulfur standards will make emissions control systems more effective. The Program will reduce the impacts of motor vehicles on air quality & public health. 1.Considers the vehicle and its fuel as an integrated system. 2.Sets new vehicle emissions standards and lowers the sulfur content of gasoline beginning in 2017.
