TASK FORCE 95 MILITARY POLICE Effective 1 December 2007 * TIS requirement for board appearance (Primary Zone) as of the first day of the month to SSG is 71 Mo TIS (reduced from 83 Mo). There is no change to waiver criteria for board appearance in the Secondary Zone. The AAA-294 Report now contains a new section called “SSG ELIGIBLE FOR AUTOMATIC PROMOTION LIST INTEGRATION”, which display Soldiers who meet the minimum required time in service of 83 Mo or more and minimum time in grade of 11 Mo or more.

TASK FORCE 95 MILITARY POLICE Effective 1 December 2007 1st -3rd: Re-validate points on ERB; Ensuring they show up on the ERB once message is received in email 7th: DUE: Monthly promotion reports with counseling or promotion packets; Review accuracy; Promotion Numbers for Officer Promotions posted on HRC, Update promotion forecast for following month 8th – 12th: Allocate SPC Waivers for entire battalion, issue orders 10th: DUE: Quarter Packets (SAMC/SMC & NCO/Soldier of the Quarter) 14th: Audits reports posted 21st – 31st: * C-10 Posted; Review and send to HHD/230th for Signatures * DASO Orders (Enlisted/Officers); Keep in folders * Sequence Numbers for Senior Enlisted; Update promotion forecast for following month * Monthly Cut-off scores posted; Post copy on bulletin in foyer; Send to companies, to submit list of Soldiers/NCOs who made it, for Brigade 27th: Submit ERBs and list of those who made cut-off to Brigade, request for orders. TASK FORCE 95 MILITARY POLICE Effective 1 December 2007 Promotion Packet vs. Counseling Statement * Required when Commander circles YES on AAA-294, and annotates Cdr’s points * For Promotion Board appearance: 1) ERB, current and accurate information 2) Leader’s Biography (See Sample) 3) Weapons Qualification Card (No crew-served weapons!) 4) Physical Fitness test Scorecard (DA Form 705) * Required when Commander circles NO on AAA-294, when Soldier is listed under Eligible for Automatic Promotion List Integration * Counseling Statement (DA Form 4856) must state WHY Soldier is not being recommended for promotion * Submitted when Soldier becomes fully eligible for automatic integration * Done periodically (quarterly)

TASK FORCE 95 MILITARY POLICE Effective 1 December 2007 Self-Service Automated DA Form 3355: Promotion Point Worksheet * The single source document for semi-centralized promotion processing for all Soldiers recommended for promotion to Sergeant (E5) and Staff Sergeant (E6). * May be accessed through the eMILPO website https://emilpo.ahrs.army.mil/https://emilpo.ahrs.army.mil/ or HRC https://www.hrc.army.mil/site/erec/index.htmhttps://www.hrc.army.mil/site/erec/index.htm * The new “Self-Service DA Form 3355” system allows Soldiers to update their own DA Form 3355 without having to accumulate 20 or more new promotion points and eliminates Administrative Reevaluations * Effective 1 Dec 2007, hard-copy DA Form 3355 are no longer required to be maintained at Promotion Work Centers (Bn & Bde)

TASK FORCE 95 MILITARY POLICE Effective 1 December 2007 Cont’d… * Promotion Work Centers are only required to maintain: 1) Authenticated AAA-294(Enlisted Promotion Report) for promotion to Sergeant & Staff Sergeant 2) Authenticated Promotion Board Proceedings 3) DA Form 3356 (Board Member Appraisal Worksheet) 4) DA Form 3357 (Board Recommendation) 5) DA Form 4856 (When Soldier is not recommended) SOLDIER’S ROLE: * SPC thru SGT may access regardless of promotable status * Use AKO user ID and password to access automated DA 3355 * Points will NOT be effective until AFTER promotion board appearance * Review ERB, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date * Report to Company HR Clerk/Bn S1 to update ERB to reflect new changes made to DA 3355 * Maintain and safeguard all supporting documents for Command Audits & Reviews

TASK FORCE 95 MILITARY POLICE Effective 1 December 2007 Cont’d… * Soldiers can only update: 1) AWARDS: Certificates of Achievement, Hazardous Duty points 2) CIVILIAN ED: Additional college credit, CLEP/DANTES completion, Degree Completion (while in grade) 3) MILITARY ED: Additional correspondence courses, Certificates of Training (DA Form 87) 4) ACHIEVEMENTS: Honor Graduate, Leadership Recipient * All initial updates must be done through S1, Soldiers can only make subsequent changes * Understand that any updates made on DA 3355 must be submitted to update ERB as well * Updates must be validated prior to COB on the 8th day of the board month for points to take effect 1st of the following month

TASK FORCE 95 MILITARY POLICE Effective 1 December 2007 ** MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION ** * Soldiers AUTOMATICALLY INTEGRATED can also add points any time. However, points will not become effective unless Bn HR SGT inputs Commander’s points and Promotion board points. * Soldiers with SQI P, V, or S, have the option to select corresponding badges (Parachutist, Senior, Master). However, Soldier must be in a valid airborne slot before points can be awarded. (ERB will reflect) * Military training courses (usually classroom correspondence) of 40hrs or more will be awarded 4 points for every 40hrs. Anything less than 40 hrs (1 wk) will not receive credit. Similar courses can be combined to meet the hour requirement.
