7. Synthesis Not seen often in TEKS/TAKS. Tough to assess. “Putting something together.” Could be highest level of “Thinking Skills.”

8. Evaluation Shows up in some TEKS. “Judgment based on a set criteria.”

9. Remember the word “Including” The term is used when the specific examples that follow it must be taught. However, other examples may also be used in conjunction with those listed. Remember…must teach items!
