If the new threshold came with screws, use the new screws. 7.Replace the door trim if it was removed 8.Secure the threshold and make sure the door opens and closes without striking the threshold. Make sure that the threshold does not hinder passage of a wheelchair across it. 9.Clean the area.

Repairing Damaged Carpet 1.Set up safety barriers. 2.Trim or cut away damaged pieces. 3.Place a new piece of carpet front to back with the damaged piece. 4.Cut the replacement piece to size, using the damaged piece as a pattern. 5.Place new piece where the damaged piece was and trim to exact size. 6.Place carpet seam tape around edge of hole. 7.Hot glue existing carpet and tape. 8.Glue the new piece into place and run a tractor tool across the seam.
