4. Difficulties Experienced on his Expeditions
Encountered storms and wind
On Henry Hudson's last voyage, when his crew demanded to go home, Hudson wanted to continue the voyage
Ship stranded in ice
Hudson’s crew was led to mutiny and put Hudson, his son, and other supporters in a small boat, left to die.
On Henry’s third voyage, King James I of England forbade Hudson to sail for England

In November, Hudson decided to go home and arrived in Dartmouth, England

When the ice melted, Hudson wanted to sail further
