The National Gallery is an art museum on Trafalgar Square in London.

It was founded in 1824, from an purchase of 36 paintings by the John Julius Angerstein.

The Museum contains more than 2000 samples of Western European art of the XIII - beginning of the 20th century. The fifth most visited Museum in the world. Pictures in the gallery displayed in chronological order.

Westminster Abbey is a large, mainly Gothic, church in the City of Westminster, London, located just to the west of the Palac of Westminster.

Westminster was founded in the 7th century, around existed at the time of the monastery.

Henry III rebuilt the abbey in honour of a royal saint, Edward the Confessor, whose relics were placed in a shrine in the sanctuary. Henry III himself was interred nearby, as were many of the Plantagenet kings of England, their wives and other relatives.

The first English king to be crowned here, was Harold, in January 1066.
