Everybody loves Raymond… Moody Popular interest in near-death experiences was initially sparked by Raymond Moody’s 1975 book "Life After Life" and the founding of the International Association for Near-Death Studies (IANDS) in 1978.

Challenges As it implies from the name, the person has not actually died. Therefore it’s not proof of life after death. Stuff such as ‘oxygen starvation’ could cause it. No two experiences are identical Not all people who are declared clinically dead and are resuscitated have a ‘near death’ experiences.
