3 EXTERNAL EXAM PAPER 1 – READING FOR UNDERSTANDING, ANALYSIS & EVALUATION CLOSE READING (30 MARKS) PAPER II – CRITICAL READING SECTION A CRITICAL ESSSAY ON EITHER A PLAY, POEM OR MEDIA TEXT (20 MARKS) SECTION B – SCOTTISH TEXT – QUESTIONS ON “CONEGATHERERS” BY ROBIN JENKINS (20 MARKS)

4 INTERNAL ASSESSMENTS CREATION & PRODUCTION CP 01 – PRODUCE A PIECE OF WRITING (BROADLY CREATIVE/ BROADLY DISCURSIVE) CP 02 – TAKE PART IN A SPOKEN INTERACTION (INDIVIDUAL PRESENTATION/ GROUP DISCUSSION) ANALYSIS & EVALUATION A&E 01- READING AN UNSEEN TEXT TO ANSWER QUESTIONS FOR UNDERSTANDING, ANALYSIS & EVALUATION A&E 02 – LISTENING. LISTEN TO A TEXT AND ANSWER QUESTIONS FOR UNDERSTANDING, ANALYSIS & EVALUATION

5 JUNE 2014 – CREATIVE WRITING FOR THE MONTH OF JUNE WE WILL BE FOCUSSING ON CREATIVE WRITING WITH A VIEW TO PRODUCING A CREATIVE PIECE FOR OUR WRITING FOLIO WHICH WILL ALSO BE USED FOR THE HIGHER WRITING ASSESSMENT
