Web Server Load Balancing Network Server Load Balancing can be provided via Content Services Switch. Configuration available are multiple server load balancing or active and standby. The Content Switch’s have redundancy to provide high availability.

Domain Name Services DTS administers and maintains Domain Name Services (DNS) for the State of California and associated government entities Primary authority for the following domains: CA.GOV STATE.CA.US Requests are processed by DTS DNS administrative staff, usually within 24 hours during the normal business week

CSGnet maintains three geographically diverse Domain Name Servers (DNS) Sacramento (2) Southern California (1) Delegation of sub-domains DNS requests may be submitted by e-mail to dnsrequest@ca.gov or via the web at http://nicweb.ca.gov/dnsPage.pl dnsrequest@ca.gov http://nicweb.ca.gov/dnsPage.pl Domain Name Services (cont.)

Firewall services Web servers are protected by a firewall from the outside. Data Base and applications are protected from Web servers and the outside. A separate backend segment can be provided for application and/or data base servers if required by customer security needs.
