2  Tower Bridge is a bridge in London  It crosses the River Thames near the Tower of London.

3  Workers began to build the Tower Bridge in April 1886.  The bridge was open in 30 June 1894.

4  The bridge is 244 meters in length with two others each 213 65 meters high, bulit on piers.  The bridge is made for more then 11,000 tons of steel.

5 London Bridge Tower Bridge Tower Bridge is often misunderstood with London Bridge. Maybe because of the song London Bridge is falling down.

6 If large boats need to sail under Tower Bridge, the two halves of the bridge lift up to let it under. Many tourists go to see the Tower Bridge.
