Finding the intersection 2 nd key Trace key Use the 2 nd key and Trace key for finding the intersection of two equations Example: Graph the two equations Type Y= 2x – 5 then move the arrow down to Y2= and type x² - 10 Graph Type 2 nd Trace 5: intersect Enter Hit Enter 3 more times and you will see the word Intersection in the bottom left corner Calculator screen looks like this: Intersection X= -1.44949 Y= -7.898979

Window settings Window key Use the Window key to change the settings of the viewing window Example: Type Window and use the arrow keys to change the numbers for the settings then graph Calculator screen looks like this for the standard setting: WINDOW Xmin= -10 Xmax= 10 Xscl= 1 Ymin= -10 Ymax= 10 Yscl= 1 Xres= 1 Note: Type Zoom 6: Zstandard Enter to return to the standard setting
