3
Environmental health studies the atmosphere and environment that affect the health of people and animals
4
LEVEL OF EXPOSURE TO SMALL PARTICLES
6
Air quality: is defined as a measure of the condition of air. Air quality:An air quality measurement station in Edinburgh, Scotland Air Quality
7
Asthma is a chronic disease of the respiratory system. usually in response to one or more factors like exposure to an inappropriate environment (cold, wet or allergen). Asthma:is used to measure the maximum expiratory flow Asthma
8
Electromagnetic radiation and health: is produced by the radiation of electromagnetic waves generated by human activity Electromagnetic radiation and health
9
Indoor air quality: is a term referring to the air quality within and around buildings and structures, especially as it relates to the health Indoor air quality
10
Lead poisoning: Lead poisoning is a medical condition caused by increased levels of the heavy metal lead in the body. Lead poisoning: An X ray demonstrating the characteristic finding of lead poisoning Lead poisoning
11
The power nuclear: about the controversy which has surrounded the deployment and use of nuclear fission reactors to generate electricity from nuclear fuel for civilian purposes.
12
Nuclear power: Proponents of nuclear for energy say is a sustainable energy source which reduces carbon emissions and can increase energy security. Cattenom nuclear power plant. Nuclear power
13
Nuclear weapons: A nuclear weapon is an explosive device that derives its destructive force from nuclear reactions, either fission or a combination of fission and fusion The mushroom cloud of the aromic bombingof Nagasaki, Japan on August 9, 1945 rose some 18 kilometers (11 miles) above the bomb's hypocenter. Nuclear weapons
14
Nuclear and radiation accidents: A nuclear event that has led to significant consequences to people, the environment or the facility. Nuclear and radiation accidents
15
The Chernobyl disaster (locally, Chernobyl Catastrophe) was a nuclear accident that occurred on 26 April 1986 at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant in Ukraine (officially Ukrainian SSR). It is considered the worst nuclear power plant accident in history.
16
Fukushima nuclear accident involves a series of incidents, such as explosions in the buildings where nuclear reactors are faults in the cooling systems or outside release of radiation as a result of the damage caused by the earthquake and tsunami, that hit northeastern Japan on the day on March 11, 2011.
17
Nuclear safety: Nuclear safety covers the actions taken to prevent nuclear radiation Nuclear safety
18
High-level radioactive waste management: High-level radioactive waste management concerns management and disposal of highly radioactive materials created during production of nuclear power. High-level radioactive waste management Nuclear graveyard
19
Ana: From my point of view I realized that the earth is not how I thought and I will do my part to improve it. Silvia: I think that the earth would have to improve and we would have to work all to make this a better world. Santi: This work has helped me to see that even though nuclear energy power we have many bad things.
