1 1 Corinthians 12:13-26

2 For even as the body is one and yet has many members, and all the members of the body, though they are many, are one body, so also is Christ. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, and we were all made to drink of one Spirit.

7 1. Fellowship is Vital to Christian Growth 2. You Need to Find Your Role! 1 Cor. 12:15-19 If the foot should say, "Because I am not a hand, I am not a part of the body," it is not for this reason any the less a part of the body. [16] And if the ear should say, "Because I am not an eye, I am not a part of the body," it is not for this reason any the less a part of the body. [17] If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole were hearing, where would the sense of smell be? [18] But now God has placed the members, each one of them, in the body, just as He desired. [19] And if they were all one member, where would the body be? If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be?

14 1. Fellowship is Vital to Christian Growth 2. You Need to Find Your Role! 3. Appreciate the Role of Others 1 Cor. 12:20-25 As it is, there are many parts, but one body. The eye cannot say to the hand, "I don't need you!" And the head cannot say to the feet, "I don't need you!" On the contrary, those parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable, and the parts that we think are less honorable we treat with special honor. 1 Cor. 12:20-25 As it is, there are many parts, but one body. On the contrary, those parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable, and the parts that we think are less honorable we treat with special honor. And the parts that are unpresentable are treated with special modesty, while our presentable parts need no special treatment. But God has combined the members of the body and has given greater honor to the parts that lacked it, so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other.

John 4:14 but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life."
