By: Saeed Kameel WHY ANIMALS SHOULD BE IN THE WILD

NO, ANIMALS SHOULD BE IN THE WILD!!!!! While holding species that are endangered in captivity is understandable, but keeping animals for enjoyment or studies is completely unacceptable, just think what you would feel like trapped in a cage possibly your whole life, just like we deserve to live life to it’s fullest so should any creature or species.

HERE ARE ALL MY REASONS WHY Zoos have birds that can not fly and tigers that cannot hunt, so surly we could learn much more about them if we study them in the wild. Only up to 2% out of the 6000 endangered species were registered in zoo breading program provided by an earlier study, thus zoos don’t actually help animals as much as we would think or hope.

Many people think that animals are well looked after in zoos, but it doesn’t matter how safe they are, they still are eager to go in the wild, many animals suffer because they are not meant to be kept in a cage. Placing a wild animal in a cage without their will is another type of slavery and should not be allowed.

Animals need their freedom and when they are in captivity they get limited amount of air and water They have a greater chance of dying more easily, and it should not be for our amusement or research. Animals lose their wild instinct of freedom, thus if we hold them captive for a large amount of time that might not be transmitted to their offsprings.

Some zoos are not capable of taking care of the animals and providing a good habitat Zoos sell and destroy animal bonds that have been there since birth, which further drives animals into even more boredom and depression. Zoos might get over populated, thus some animals might be removed into different zoos, being forced to adjust several times in their lives, some fail.

Animals are living species as well, and they have feelings, they are not remote controlled cars It is stressful to animals being kept in small dirty cages They are regarded as clowns. They can escape and harm themselves and people, but the blame does not go to the zoo keepers, the animals get put down without even tasting freedom.

Orcas in the wild have a life expectancy of 30 at least, their estimated maximum life spam is 80 for males and 100 for females, but the median in seaworld is 9. In the wild there has only been one attack on humans by the orcas, and that’s in centuries of sharing the ocean. But in captivity there are countless deaths, all because of the stress involved of living in a swimming pool for 9 to 20 years with their 1 ton bodies. Orcas in captivity bite the bars and concrete from stress, boredom and anxiety

If we do not stop now, it might be too late later when a lot of the species that are found now be gone later No body at zoos pays attention to their feelings, they see a lion laying on the floor instead of a lion hoping for joy in the wild Diseases might be shared which is hard to get rid of if it is contagious, a very hard experience for animals.

WAYS THAT WE CAN HELP! By actually helping them…not inclosing them Only help them when they are in need We shouldn’t invade their space Leave them be We should observe their actions for scientific reasons from far away And finally, release them back in the wild.

STOP IT!

THE END!! Thanks for watching!
