The University of Ohio It began with over 1,000 behavioural dimensions, and researchers were able to narrow it down to 2 categories; Consideration Initiating structure

Definitions Initiating Structure: The extent to which a leader is likely to define and structure his or her role and the roles of group members in the search for goal attainment. Consideration: The extent to which a leader has job relationships characterized by mutual trust and respect for group members’ ideas and feelings.

Leaders who are high in both initiating structure and consideration behaviours are considered high-high leaders. High-high leaders achieved high group task performance and satisfaction more frequently.
