From 0 to 18 is internal slot used for DTIB, SLIB, VOIB, PRIB, VMIB and so on. In case of mg 300 system, 19 to 56 used for DTIM, SLTM. Similar with ipLDK system, slot number 99 means ip phone slot. 88 means SIP phone slot. Let me show you system web admin. This is PGM 101, you can check slot assignment. This ADMIN same as ipLDK system PGM 101. This is PGM 103, CO, station, VMI logical order. You can change logical order just change order field. After change order, need system reset. The number of ip phone, can be set PGM 104. DECT, SIP number also set this ADMIN.

5 Board Configuration Auto Configuration
If the 1st switch of the DIP on the MPB100/300 is OFF position, boards on internal slot are configured automatically when system is power up. Then the 1st switch DIP should be set to ON position to protect database. In database protecting, the board can be added or removed in Slot Assignment PGM 101. DIP Switch Usage Remark 1 Initialize System with default Set to OFF Set the system nation in PGM 101 Reset system (Database is initialize and Boards are configured. Set to ON to protect database 2 Lithium Battery Back up ON/OFF for Memory and RTC Set to ON for Battery Back up We have two dip switch. First switch used for DB initialize. Up means OFF, this OFF state all DB initialize. Down is ON, DB protected. Second switch is battery backup, if this switch is OFF and power off, DB and RTC time data will be lose.

10 Board Configuration Logical Assignment – Station/CO Line/VMIB
The Station, CO line and VMIB’s logical order can be programmed by PGM 103. After changing, the system should be reset for re-configuration. PGM 103 display co, station, VMI order. Order value must be sequential from 1 to maximum number of slot. In this example, 11 is maximum number of slot. station order.

11 IP Phone Registration IP Extension – IP Phone (System Programming)
IP phones (LIP-8000/7000 series) can be registered in iPECS-MG, which can be installed in the company LAN or outside. To be registered IP Phone number including Phontage) is programmable and the maximum simultaneous call depends on the VOIB/VOIU channels. 1) IPP should be configured in ‘STA Slot’ order in advance 2) IP Phone can be registered through MAC authentication or station number authentication MG System Phontage LAN router LIP-8050V LIP-8012 LIP-8024D IP Phone Registration Table Logical Slot Assignment 2) 4) IPP Configuration for IP phone: 1) Assign max. IP Phone no. to be registered in PGM 104 2) Assign station order to IPP (slot 99) in PGM 103 3) Reset the system for configuration 4) Check station range for IP Phone in PGM 101 Registering the MAC address of IP phones (only for MAC auth) : 5) Input the MAC address of IP Phones in IP Phone Registration Table (PGM 106) For ip phone registration, need some setting. First need virtual ip phone slot, PGM 103, 99 is virtual ip phone slot. Need order value. And, configure ip phone mac address, this system side configuration. MG system can register ip phone by station number. Input device number in ip phone setting. In this case, don’t need mac addres setting in PGM 106. Ip phone station number check by PGM 101, 103 or bc.

12 IP Phone Registration IP Extension – IP Phone Configuration
IP Phone should be programmed on the phone. 1)Install the IP Phone and Cabling 2)Setting the Mode as Remote (iPECS-MG only supports remote mode.) 3)Setting the IP address of system (MPB) 4)Setting the IP address of IP Phone : At home => DHCP mode , at company => Fixed or DHCP 5)Setting the INPUT DEVICE NUMBER(only for STA number auth) : this is the STA number of iPECS-MG system 6)Rebooting. IP Phone tries to connect to the system and connected. NO RESPONSE FROM MFIM[L] SET[*] - RETRY[#] 1 1) Power on the IP Phone. the following message will be displayed on LCD. Press”*” to enter the setup. If password requested, press “1 4 7 *” by default. 2) The following message will be shown. Leave the mode as “Remote” as default set. MG system only support REMOTE mode. This means, all ip phone set ip address itself. System not assign ip address locally. And set MPB and ip address information. INPUT DEVICE NUMBER is station number for registration. If this number is valid ip phone number, system register ip phone this station number. PHONE IP ADDRESS(DOT:*) INPUT DEVICE NUMBER 273 5 REBOOTING… AFTER SETTING 6

13 IP Phone Registration IP Phone Voice Connection
MPB VOIB When IP phone talks to Digital Phone or accesses CO line, The voice is connected to the associate device through VOIB. VOIB Channel is allocated to IP Phone from his Zone’s VOIB Resource. The signaling between system and IP/SIP phone is communicated through MPB IP Address. But the RTP is communicated through VOIB. This rule is applied to SIP voice connection. router LAN LIP-8050V RTP Signaling IP Phone/SIP Phone’s Zone Zone Attribute MG system voice swithching based on TDM. When DKT to DKT call, each DKT has TDM channel, so switch two TDM. In case of ip phone, no TDM channel. Only have ip port so send voice only RTP packets. When ip phone call to DKT, DKT only have TDM channel, ip phone borrow VOIB channel for TDM channel. So, system set this ip phone to assign VOIB board. Ip phont to ip phone call connected directly, peer to peer, or by VOIB, this is relay. Zone attribute set this relay configuration. Station zone number set PGM 399 station zone attribute. In this PGM, set zone number, RTP relay group number, station codec type. RTP relay group need for forced relay setting in same zone. Station codec type is the high priority more than tenant or zone codec type. Tenant codec type can be changed PGM 281 tenant codec type. If set zone codec type to tenant group codec type, zone code follow tenant codec type. Set zone codec to G.711, zone codec will be G.711, whatever tenant codec is. RTP relay rule is automatic or follow relay group. Automatic decide relay or not by automatically. This case default is not use, if ip phone locate behind NAT, automatically assign VOIB channel, then act relay mode. Follow relay group, select relay or not, only by configuration. Zone resource used VOIB and VMIB board. MG-300 has 12 resource board and 100 system is 9 board. Peer to peer, this same as ipLDK system peer to peer option. PGM 382 flex 4 peer to peer. This option is captain. If set to peer to peer off, RTP relay rule is no meaning. This admin add by request. For ipLDK users. This relay admin only for ip phone to ip phone case. Other case, like ip phone to ip phone make call, then transfer to DKT, VOIB channel assign automatically And, ip phone to ip phone connected, Make conference, ip phone change peer to peer mode to relay mode.

14 SIP Phone Registration
SIP Extension - SIP Phone (System Programming) MPB VOIB Standard SIP phones can be registered in iPECS-MG, which can be installed in the company LAN or outside.
