The German labour market.… ▬ Germany has one of the lowest unemployment rates (5.3%) among EU Member States. ▬ For young people between the ages of 15 and 25, Germany has one of the lowest unemployment rates (7.9%). ▬ Dual vocational training is the main success factor in the German labour market. In this way employers have new recruits in their companies at an early stage and work with them to get good qualifications. ▬ There are particularly good job prospects in Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria.

The German labour market.… ▬ Most university graduates and people who have completed vocational training find it comparatively easy to get a job. ▬ People with no vocational qualification have considerably worse chances. ▬ This means that immigrants have very good chances of starting a job in Germany, especially if they are qualified and have mastered the German language or want to learn it.
