2 The Salary Thermometer Many companies experience that a successful salary system looses effect after some years. Or the employees have changed their views on the system. The Salary Thermometer can help you by taking the temperature of the salary system: How satisfied is the company? How satisfied are the employees? How satisfied are the executives? Has the satisfaction changed?

3 The Salary Thermometer To get access, you must enter your username and password

4 The Salary Thermometer If you have not used it before, you must begin by making a company profile

5 Setting up a Company Profile To get access, the company must be a member of DI. And must have employees working under the Collective Industrial Agreement for hour-paid or the Collective Agreement for Technical and Administrative Salaried Employees. You will need the DI membership number of the company and the password for the DI-homepage. And your own email address at work.

15 SETTING UP A NEW SURVEY

16 Setting up a Survey When you select to set up a new survey, you will see this screen. The first step is to name the new survey

29 Filling out the Questionnaire The questionnaire can be filled out in several different ways: You might have received a link in an email and will complete the online questionnaire. You might have received a link on your intranet and will complete the online questionnaire. You might have received the questionnaire printed on paper.

37 Survey Results When a survey is over, you will have to close it. This is not done automatically. Please observe you cannot reopen a survey once you have closed it. To close a survey, you choose it in the list shown under “Aktive undersøgelser” (Active Surveys) in the menu Click on ”Luk” (Close) to end an active survey and get the results

44 How are we? Under the tab ”Tilfredshed og effekt” (Satisfaction and Effect) you can see the state of your salary system. A salary system is good: - If the employees are satisfied with the system - And the management feels the system have the desired effect

45 How are we? The figure shows if your salary system is in a good state (the green area), a not- so-good state (red area) or somewhere in between (the yellow areas) This small square indicates the current placement of your company
