Company History “World Leader in Electro-Optical Flame Detection Technology”

TECHNICAL BACKGROUND  Aerospace Designers  Former Aerospace Production Personnel  Aerospace Design Experience:  Armored Vehicle Early Warning  Aircraft Self-Protection  Countermeasures  AAA Early Warning  Ground & Air-to-Air Missile Early Warning  Submarine Countermeasures

THREE Major Development Paths  High performance, high cost, digital UV, Wide Band IR, and visible sensors for high hazard industrial and military market segments.  Medium priced, digital UV, Wide Band IR and visible sensors for industrial market segment.  Low cost, indoor, analog, low current UV, Wide Band IR, and visible sensors for specific market segments.

High End Market  High performance, high cost, digital UV, Wide Band IR, and visible sensors for high end industrial and military market segments. The performance achieved with the SuperSentry I in 1983 is still unsurpassed by any known flame detector in the world (400 ft to detect a 3” diameter gasoline fire!)  This high cost market segment has not yet produced any significant sales due to very cost of the detector.  The engineering development in Wide Band IR and digital signal processing was utilized in the Middle End Industrial Market segment.

Medium Price Industrial Market Segment  Medium priced, digital, UV, Wide Band IR and visible sensors for industrial market segment with “Killark” housing and quartz window.  This engineering development led to the very successful FS2000 Fire Detection System with CM1 Controllers, COP-I Test Sources, and SS2 Multi-Spectrum family of detectors:  SS2-A for general industrial applications,  SS2-AH and SS2-AM ultra high speed response for airbag and munitions plants,  SD2 for private label.  SN2 for the NFS-1000 System for electrostatic powder systems.

Medium Price Industrial Market Segment (cont.)  The SS2 product development led to the very successful SS4 Multi-Spectrum family of detectors with built-in test source:  SS4-A for the general industrial market including aircraft hangars, truck loading racks, petro-chemical industry, silane gas fire protection, tank farms, etc.  SS4-AUV for applications specifying UV detection.  SS4-AS optimized for special fire detection applications: hydrogen, methanol, ethanol, and natural gas.

Finishing Market Segment  Fire Sentry’s product development led to the very successful FS10 Multi-Spectral family of detectors with Wide Band IR, Near Band IR, and Visible Sensors (no UV) and built-in test sources (Fire Early Warning, ALERT, and ALARM stages) - “Killark” housing with IR window:  FS System 10 with Wall-Mounted Controller for general finishing applications in both liquid and powder electrostatic paint spray booth and lines. Designed specifically to meet the revised May 1995 NFPA 33 code for the self-extinguishment of spray gun fires.  FS System 10 with Card Controller for the automotive finishing market, both powder and liquid.  FS10-R unitized flame detector with 2 stages and dry contact relay or 4-20 mA outputs for the powder and liquid finishing industry.

Clean Room Market Segment  Fire Sentry’s product development led to the very successful FS7 Multi-Spectral family of detectors with Wide Band IR, Near Band IR, and Visible Sensors (no UV) and built-in test sources (Fire Early Warning, ALERT, and ALARM stages) - FSC proprietary polypropylene housing:  FS7-2173 flame detector for clean room applications including wet benches. Requires FSC controller or Control Panels. Two stage output.  FS7-2173-2RP flame detector for stand-alone applications with 2 stages and dry contact relay output.  FS7-2175 and FSWB Control Panels for clean room applications.  FS7-SX Controller for clean room applications.

Low Cost Market  Low cost, indoor, analog, extremely low current UV, Wide Band IR, and visible sensors for specific market segments.  Led to the Room Sentry for homes, RV Sentry for recreational vehicles, Kitchen Sentry for kitchens, Stable Sentry for horses and livestock, Boat Sentry.  However, Room Sentry led to the very successful Clean Room Sentry: RS series, RS2 series, and SS3 flame detector series.
