MDA Mission To serve, promote and protect the food, agricultural, environmental and economic interests of the people of the State of Michigan

Animal Industry Division Oversees health and safety of livestock and other domestic animals in Michigan. Monitors and controls interstate and intrastate movement of animals and animal products. Eradicate and/or control the spread of diseases, particularly diseases that could affect humans.
