Knowing how to prevent leading causes of child injury, like poisoning, is a step toward this goal.
Keep medications and toxic chemicals locked up.
Keep important numbers on hand
Read directions and warning labels before giving children medication.
Properly dispose of old, unused medications by dissolving in kitty litter

In emergency rooms all over the US, at least 300 children are treated for burn injuries everyday.
Install and maintain smoke alarms in your home.
