2. Because Airport security prevents people from sneaking bad things onto the airplanes. Airport security also ensures the safety of people in the airport and on the planes. I think they should be as strict as they are.

Before 9/11 airport security wasn’t as strict as they are today the united states had never experienced a terrorist attack like this Four planes hijacked and thousands of people were killed if the air port security would of been more strict maybe we could of caught the terrorists and prevented the deaths of thousands. After 9/11 airport security got a lot more advanced ensure that something like 9/11 never happened again make people feel safe in airports we know something like this could happen we are prepared for it Full body scanners are some of the new technology used in airports to look through your cloths to make shore you aren't carrying something bad. And if you don’t want to; use the body scanner you have to get a thorough pat down. After 9/11

5. people don’t like waiting in the long lines While you are in those lines each persons bag is being checked for harmful things and each person is checked security is making the airport the safest environment possible There is air marshals on each plane to protect you on the plane as well.
