SQUADRON OBJECTIVES To have our best year yet For Cadets to take part enthusiastically in a wide range of Sqn & Wing Events To enter teams in all Wing Competitions To study, sit and pass classification exams To increase Duke of Edinburgh Award participation

SQUADRON OBJECTIVES TO HAVE OUR BEST YEAR YET? This simply means, each and every Cadet, NCO and Staff Member to do what they can in order to make the Squadron, it’s activities, it’s results and successes, as positive and worthwhile as possible. The responsibility for this lies with EVERY one of us

SQUADRON OBJECTIVES FOR CADETS TO TAKE PART ENTHUSIASTICALLY IN A WIDE RANGE OF SQN AND WING EVENTS Squadron Staff and Wing Staff spend a lot of time putting events together for Cadets – whether they be camps, visits, competitions... I would rather have to turn people away than to cancel the activity due to lack of interest

SQUADRON OBJECTIVES It is crucial that you attend as success in these exams brings a BTEC in Aviation Studies – at no extra cost. All examinations are now done online – the paper system is now discontinued. Exams are sat chapter by chapter, with roughly 2 questions per chapter which you have to pass to a satisfactory standard.....meaning if you fail one chapter you only need resit that chapter, and can do so after only 10 days Don’t forget – you must pass these exams to progress through your career in the Air Cadets: eg, for an Overseas Camp you must be a Leading Cadet

SQUADRON OBJECTIVES TO INCREASE DUKE OF EDINBURGH AWARD PARTICIPATION Existing participants to continue, complete and qualify their award To introduce and enrol new cadets to the Award

FINALLY... You will get as much out of the Air Cadets as you put in. If you attend regularly and take part in as much as you can, you will have a better overall experience. GET INVOLVED!!
