Regions and why they were unique New England: New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut were famous for the ocean, bitterly cold winters and Mild Summers Middle Colonies: New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware were famous for Agriculture, major shipping hubs and a Temperate climate Southern Colonies: Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia were famous for farming, perfect soil and slave worked farms
