At the Cross
14
Alas, and did my Savior bleed and did my Sovereign die? Would He devote that sacred head, for sinners such as I?
15
Was it for crimes that I had done He groaned upon the tree? Amazing pity, grace unknown and love beyond degree!
16
At the cross, at the cross where I first saw the light And the burden of my heart rolled away
17
It was there by faith I received my sight And now I am happy all the day
18
But drops of grief can ne’er repay, the debt of love I owe Here, Lord, I give myself away ‘tis all that I can do
19
At the cross, at the cross where I first saw the light And the burden of my heart rolled away
20
It was there by faith I received my sight And now I am happy all the day
21
At the cross, at the cross where I first saw the light And the burden of my heart rolled away
22
It was there by faith I received my sight And now I am happy all the day
23
Down at the cross where my Savior died Down where for cleansing from sin I cried
24
There to my heart was the blood applied Glory to His name
25
Glory to His name glory to His name There to my heart was the blood applied Glory to His name
26
Come to this fountain so rich and sweet Cast thy poor soul at the Savior’s feet
27
Plunge in today and be made complete Glory to His name
28
Glory to His name glory to His name There to my heart was the blood applied Glory to His name
30
So I’ll cherish the old rugged cross Till my trophies at last I lay down
31
I will cling to the old rugged cross And exchange it some day for a crown
33
HOW GREAT IS OUR GOD The splendor of the King clothed in majesty, let all the earth rejoice, all the earth rejoice.
34
He wraps Himself in light and darkness tries to hide, and trembles at His voice, and trembles at His voice.
35
How great is our God, sing with me, how great is our God and all will see how great, how great is our God.
36
And age to age He stands, and time is in His hands, Beginning and the End, Beginning and the End.
37
The God-head, Three in One, Father, Spirit, Son, the Lion and the Lamb, the Lion and the Lamb.
38
How great is our God, sing with me, how great is our God and all will see how great, how great is our God.
40
Then sings my soul my Savior, God, to Thee, “How great Thou art, how great Thou art.”
42
How great is our God, sing with me, how great is our God and all will see how great, how great is our God.
43
Name above all names, worthy of all praise, my heart will sing, “How great is our God.”
44
How great is our God, sing with me, how great is our God and all will see how great, how great is our God.
46
THERE IS A FOUNTAIN There is a fountain filled with blood drawn from Immanuel’s veins; and sinners plunged beneath that flood lose all their guilty stains.
47
Lose all their guilty stains, lose all their guilty stains, and sinners plunged beneath that flood lose all their guilty stains.
48
The dying thief rejoiced to see that fountain in his day; and there may I, tho’ vile as he, wash all my sins away.
49
Wash all my sins away, wash all my sins away, and there may I, tho’ vile as he, wash all my sins away.
50
Dear dying Lamb, Thy precious blood shall never lose its pow’r, ‘till all the ransomed church of God be saved to sin no more.
51
Be saved to sin no more, be saved to sin no more, ‘till all the ransomed church of God be saved to sin no more.
52
E’er since by faith I saw the stream Thy flowing wounds supply, redeeming love has been my theme and shall be ‘till I die.
53
And shall be ‘till I die, and shall be ‘till I die, redeeming love has been my theme and shall be ‘till I die.
