Facts Location – In East Lansing Size – Total of enrolled all students 47,071 History – Founded in 1855 – First taught 63 student in 1857, in buildings that are not there anymore – The name of the college has changed throughout the years, in 1964 is when it was name Michigan State University Laura Belanger

Why would like to attend? I would like to attend Michigan State because There is a huge campus with a lot of opportunities to be involved in things that interest me, like a good tennis team I would join the tennis team, and work hard as a student. I will have to keep up my grades because I need to have good grades to be accepted into Michigan State Laura Belanger

Campus Life Housing – There is 200 and more residents – There are 15 houses Transportation – As a freshman on campus they are not allowed to have a car permit. – Most students then get around by bike, walk or catch the bus Laura Belanger

Actives off campus Burchfield – Summer: Has 540 acres, many trails to go biking, water to go fishing, swimming, and can relax on the beach – In winter: Going sledding on 700ft toboggan run, and go skiing – Has many activities to do and close to campus! Laura Belanger

Michigan State Museum MSU Museum shows anthropological, biological, folklife, geological, and historical exhibits. It also has a planetarium, where you can go star gazing and learn about the stars The museum shows Egyptian, Greek, and Roman artifacts, Western European and American art This a fun activity to come with family that is visiting, you will enjoy Laura Belanger

Attractions Theater – When you take a break from watching the activity from all the sports you can go watch a play – Michigan State has a big performing arts, and they put on good plays – They put on many shows throughout the year Laura Belanger
