Smart Meter Texas Release 1 Update 1.The Smart Meter Texas TDSP Consortium announced ‘Go Live” launch of the Smart Meter Texas Portal on March 15, 2010. 2.The registration process is available now. Interested REPs should contact Jenina Smith at Jenina.Smith@SolutionsCubeGroup.com to obtain a registration packet with all the registration details. Jenina.Smith@SolutionsCubeGroup.com 3.The Advanced Metering Implementation Team is working with the Smart Meter Texas team in sessions in Austin to define the scope of functionality for a summer 2010 release 2 of Smart Meter Texas

Release 1 Smart Meter Texas Online Portal Update Release 1 Statistics (after 17 days) – 1195 Residential users have created accounts – 29 REPs requested and received SMT registration packets – 20 REP entities created and registered successfully on SMT portal – 178 REP Users created – 17 NRC entities created – 56 TDSP Users created – 12 HAN devices successfully provisioned (REP – SMT – TDSP – Meter – HAN) – Help Desk up and receiving calls

REP one on one SMT FTPS and API Integration Process One-on-one SMT Integration Process – Contact Jenina for insertion into process flow – Provide Jenina with requested information jenina.smith@solutionscubegroup.com – SMT FTPS integration process central point of contact that will work with you will be Bret Simon bret.c.simon@us.ibm.com – Will receive one-on-one assistance, emails, calls, Q and A and private FTPS integration session scheduling to meet your personal schedule Please note that the goal set and agreed to by AMIT is to migrate all REPs from the individual TDSP FTP sites onto the Smart Meter Texas FTPS site by end of May

Current Status of REP Integration Process 16 REPS successfully integrated into SMT production FTPS – Able to receive and decrypt production files 36 REPS successfully integrated into SMT testing FTPS 53 REPS at some stage of FTPS integration process New REPS requesting access to FTPS has continued to slow – REPS not being aware, not ready for integration, etc. – May timeframe to complete all REP integrations with SMT API integration process – 2 REPS in process of testing API integration 3 more REPS expressing interest
