Epitaphs Epitaphs are also known as headstone inscriptions. An epitaph is a short text honoring a deceased person, that is inscribed on their tombstone or plaque.

Here lies James who had a real bad day When he was run over by a fat man riding a sleigh

Your Assignment envision bizarre, unusual ways of killing off someone, something that would never happen in real life and which is very silly. I ask students think about activities you might do and visualize what bizarre thing could happen during this activity. Write an epitaph for your own gravestone.
