6.  After the foundation of the republic in Turkey in 1920 we had a series of great reforms in different fields.  On 1st of November 1928 we left Arabic alphabet to Latin.  In the picture you can see Atatürk - our great leader and “nation’s headteacher” -in front of the blackboard showing the new letters.

33.  These are the alphabets we use in Estonia ( Russian and Estonian)  The lessons at school are in Russian, but all the papers are in written in official language, the Estonian.  The Russian alphabet - Cyrillic, therefore is not present anything the general with English, and the Estonian alphabet has both similarity and distinction.
