Objective To inform the public of the positive effects of marijuana legalization To persuade the public that marijuana should be legalized Use the skills I learned in basics of computing to build a website, along with various other publications, on a passionate topic of mine; the legalization of marijuana

Problems Encountered Adding music to the main webpage Lining up the button links of the main page Making the background the right size on the main page Much information was skewed by sites made by the DEA and other various anti-drug organizations Felt like my procrastination led to less originality on my site, although I am pleased in how it turned out Finding a relevant java applet

Key Points Learned There are many statistics floating around out there that are skewed or just completely inaccurate As a solution, I went to government websites and compiled my own statistics from organization such as US DOJ, DEA, etc. Legalization of marijuana would produce about at least $35 billion in revenue, including the $16 billion spent on the criminalization of offenders Becoming more comfortable working with sharepoint designer
