Hitler has came to power in Germany Hitler and Mussolini have allied with intentions of expansion. Germany has gained the Sudetenland from the Czech Republic Prime Minister Chamberlin has allowed Hitler to keep the Sudetenland as part of Appeasement. The USSR and Germany have signed a non- aggression pact.

One week after Germany and USSR signed pact, Germany invades Poland. ◦ USSR follows about 2 weeks after that. German/Soviet Side– 2,000,000 units Polish Side– 950,000

Germany invades from 3 sides. After Russia invades a week later, Poland is surrounded. After the initial ground invasion, Germany follows with an air raid to further destroy Poland. Invasion began on 9/1/39 and ends on 10/6/39.
