Name Plate 3 Objectives – To assess your skill in metric measurement – To tell us some facts about you – To see how well you follow directions

Name Plate You will be making a name plate that will be designed to look like a license plate. You will use the paper I have given you – The paper is NOT the correct size.

Name Plate Dimensions You must use these EXACT dimensions. – Size of the plate 29.5 cm x 15.5 cm – Border on name plate will be 2 cm in width all the way around. – The name inside the border must be 9.5 cm tall. – No more than 7 letters or numbers and they should be centered. – The letters and/or numbers should reflect something about you – a nickname, sport or hobby. – On the border, put the name of the state or country you were born in. – Also on the border add 2 symbols representing the state or country. – Inside the border, along with the letters/numbers should be 3 more symbols or pictures telling us something about you.
