CO 2 and impurities concentrations Identify impacts of future biomass technologies on CO 2 capture processes Compile information on biomass life cycle emissions Assess how much biomass would need to be co-fired to achieve zero net CO 2 emissions

4. www.ieagreen.org.uk Outline Scope of the Study - 2 Detailed assessment of about 4 selected cases Cases to be selected during the study Could include the following plants with CCS: A large ‘zero GHG emission’ co-combustion plant A large plant using purpose grown biomass A small CHP plant using by-products or residues A liquid fuels production plant Estimate energy consumptions and costs of CCS Sensitivities to biomass price, plant size etc.
