Set-up is complicated
The TDE Series is designed for small and mid-sized companies. Unlike larger PBX systems, TDE models have default settings that activate as soon as the power is switched on. All basic settings are made automatically, including system settings (such as control card recognition), extension settings (such as extension numbers and groups), and outgoing call settings (such as phone book settings). Simply install the appropriate control cards and the system is ready for use. Also, the system can be upgraded even while in use; just plug in new cards as needs evolve.

2. Easy-to-Change Settings
Changes to the system is in your hands.
Users can easily replace the default settings with their own custom settings, using either a PC or a proprietary telephone (PT). The system is password-protected to prevent unauthorised changes.
PC Programming Software
You can easily make programming changes with a PC. Load the Maintenance Console software into the PC, then connect the PC and PBX with a USB cable.
PT Programming
Some programming can be performed using a PT with a multi-line display. There are two programming levels: Administrator
and User.

PC to PBX Connection
It is easy to connect a PC to a TDE PBX for advanced setting changes. Using a USB cable, connect the PC to the PBX USB port or to the USB port on a connected PT.* A serial (RS-232C) cable can also be connected to the PBX. Programming can also be done over an IP based LAN or remotely via ISDN or Analogue Modem.

managed on a single SD Memory Card.
Using the SD Memory Card that is supplied with the TDE Series, you can upgrade the PBX without connecting it to a PC. The SD Memory Card contains software for handling customer data and
all Hybrid IP PBX
processes.

A password-protection feature prevents unauthorised telephone use.
You can set call time limits for each line group, and specify to which extensions the limit applies.
For example, you could set the system to limit long-distance calls to two minutes and local calls to eight minutes, then apply the settings to certain phones only.
