The pictures all begin with the sound:- g Words:- Glasses, gloves, goat, goal, goldfish, golf, goose, grasshopper, gun, gorilla. 2

Learning Points When to use c,k,ck Until we learn more about vowels:- Use “c” at the beginning of words when the next sound is “a”,or a consonant. cat, can, cap, crest. Use “k” at the beginning of words when the next sound is “e” or “i” Ken, kit, kip. Use ck at the end of words 17
