3 Situational Irony- When you expect one thing to happen, and the exact opposite occurs. For example the fire chief in town has the most fire hazards in his house. You study for a test, but you fail. This statement is situational irony because Ryan wanted to make people laugh WITH him and become a comedian. Instead, people laughed AT him, and in the end, he made people cry FOR him.
