2. God’s Part  The love of God is an expression of the entire Godhead, observed in God the Father, Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit (2 Cor. 13:11-14).  In the Father (1 John 4:7- 10)  In the Son (Rom. 8:35-39)  In the Holy Spirit (Rom. 5:1-5)

3. Our Part  Failure to manifest the love of God evidences  a lack of balance (Luke 11:42; cf. Matt. 23:23)  a lack of perceptiveness (John 5:39-47)  a lack of compassion (1 John 3:17-18)

4. Our Part  Successful implementation of the love of God requires  direction (2 Thess. 3:1-6)  obedience (1 John 2:3-6; 5:1-4)  diligence (Jude 17-25)

5. Conclusion  God loves each of us (1 John 4:10).  Do we love Him (2 John 6)?
