How can we describe motion? One dimensional motion is the simplest form of motion Motion takes place over time We need a frame of reference to evaluate motion

What is a Frame of Reference? A Point at which you can measure changes in position. A system for specifying the precise location of objects in space and time

What is displacement? Change in Position Displacement = Final position – Initial Position ∆X = Xf - Xi
