Mengkuang Dam Expansion Project
Mengkuang Dam Expansion project located in Bukit Mertajam, Penang Malaysia. The objective are to increase the reservoir storage from 22 million cubic meter to 73.5 million cubic meter and the raw water supply capacity from 300 MLD to 1000 MLD for the consumption at Sg Dua water treatment plant with the construction of an intake tower, a diversion tunnel, a spillway and a road. The contract value is USD 200 million.

Sandisk Storage Malaysia Sdn Bhd
nDisk, a leading flash memory storage manufacturer headquartered in Milpitas, California, is listed on Nasdaq, and is also a Fortune 500 and S&P 500 company. SanDisk Corp is putting up a RM1.2bil manufacturing plant in Penang, which is scheduled to start production in March SanDisk plans to spend the RM1.2bil in five years for its operations in Penang and recruit over 1,000 employees. SanDisk’s new manufacturing facility is undergoing construction on a 30-acre site in Batu Kawan, south Seberang Prai.

Batu Kawan Industrial Park
Through Penang Development Corporation, the state government is strongly promoting the 1,500 acres of technology industrial park in Batu Kawan. Bayan Lepas Free Trade Zone
Bayan Lepas Free Trade Zone was initiated by the second Chief Minister of Penang, the late Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu. The Bayan Lepas Free Industrial Zone was started to develop in early 1970's. It was, then, known as Bayan Lepas Free Trade Zone, and today, this name is still used to denote Phase I and II of the industrail zones.

Boon Siew Honda Sdn Bhd, a joint venture company between Honda Motor Co., Ltd. and Oriental Holdings Bhd, began operations in September 2008 with the dual aims to consolidate motorcycle production and sales in Malaysia and to achieve higher customer satisfaction and efficiency. Prior to the emergence of the new company, Boon Siew Sdn. Bhd. was responsible for the manufacturing and wholesale business of Honda motorcycle products in Malaysia.

The Light Waterfront Development
The Light Waterfront Penang was envisioned as an iconic waterfront development, designed to embody the essence of picturesque Penang. With elements of residential, commercial, entertainment, recreational, hospitality and education, this new hub will illuminate not only the island but the aspirations of a nation in the eyes of the world. 152-acres of coastline will be transformed into an elaborate masterpiece on the eastern front of the island. Situated by the Penang Bridge – another iconic Penang landmark in itself – this dynamic RM6.5 billion project christened The Light will be undertaken by Jelutong Development Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of IJM Land Bhd. The ambitious project will take about 12 years to complete and will be developed in three phases.
