EMERGENCY RISKS Fire Earthquake Severe Weather (Ex. Strong Wind, lightening, tsunami) Building Collapse School Intruder Transportation Accident Public Health Incident

School Evacuation (Classroom)
Evacuation Alarm Sounds: Students need to turn off the lights and close the doors of the classroom. Do not lock the door. Students should leave books and school bags in classroom. No time should be wasted packing a book bag. Students should follow their teacher in a single line out of the building in an orderly fashion. Students are not to talk in the hallways. No going to lockers under any circumstances.
7
Things to Watch Out For! Touch the doors before opening. If hot, do not open. In the event of heavy smoke conditions, proceed on hands and knees to nearest exit. If obstructions are encountered, the teacher will halt the line, move to the rear of the line, and lead the group to an alternative exit.

FIRE EMERGENCY IF YOU ARE ON FIRE…
9
Emergency Fire Stations
There are emergency fire boxes around the campus on every floor. You can find an emergency water hose, fire extinguishers and a fire alarm. Only use the emergency fire boxes during an emergency! There are serious penalties for improper usage of the emergency equipment.
10
IF THERE IS AN EARTHQUAKE…
Beware of broken glass and falling material When the shaking stops, evacuate the building

China Seismicity (Earthquake ZoneS)

School Evacuation (Outside)
Follow the teacher to the flag assembly area (soccer field). Students need to quietly join their homeroom, just like a Flag Ceremony. Students are not allowed to leave or find missing or absent students. If you notice a student from your class is missing, report the information to the counselor or teacher and return to the Homeroom. Await further instructions. Be quiet and do not use cell phones at any time.
