3. After creating an e-services account (or re- storing a lost or forgotten password, etc.) you will receive a letter from the IRS. This letter will arrive via United States Postal Service, usually about 7 days after you have registered. The letter contains a registration confirmation code. You will need this code to confirm your registration before you can gain access to your ERO account with e-services. Confirming your Registration

4. Confirming your Registration (cont.)  Go to www.irs.govwww.irs.gov  Click the Tax Professionals tab/button in the center of the page.

5. Confirming your Registration (cont.) Select e-Services for Tax Pros under the Tax Professionals Topics on the left side of the page.

6. Confirming your Registration (cont.) Click on the Registration Services link in the center of the page.

7. Confirming your Registration (cont.) Choose the Confirm Registration link on the left side of the page.

8.  You will be taken to a screen that will then let you enter your confirmation code. Follow the on-screen instructions.
