Color: The result of the spectrum of visible light reflecting off of an object. Ultraviolet Infrared

Reflective Color When we see a red apple – it is the reflection of light rays from the red end of the spectrum hitting our eye and being translated by the brain into the color we call red. The colors that we see in the natural world are reflected off of objects.

The Color Wheel Colors of the spectrum are bent so that red joins violet to complete a circle. This makes a Color Wheel.
