2. Content Development  Approximately 2 days should be spent on students applying strategies for multiplication combination problems.  Before showing multiplication sentence, make sure students make the connection by using a tree diagram or another picture to track their combinations.

3. Day 1 and Day 2  The focus of day 1 and day 2 is students will be applying strategies for solving multiplication combination problems.  Students should draw their models, equations and record them in their journals.
