2. Originated :Britten Year:1800’s They believe the Golden Retriever came from the breed called the tweed water spaniel, the Newfoundland, Irish setter and many other kinds of water spaniels. Once developed, early Golden Retrievers were shown in England as Flat-Coated Retrievers under the variety Golden. Over time the Golden Retriever made it's way to NorthAmerica, brought back by people visiting Britain. It is believed that Golden Retrievers came to North America in the 1890's, however, Golden Retrievers were not "exhibited" in dog shows until the 1920's.

3. Golden’s need to... 1. Big yards to run 2. Need to be walked 2-3 a day 3. Need to be brushed often 4. Need a lot of water 5. They need to run so take them to a dog park 6. They also need to interact with other dogs 7. Need mental stimulation 8. Other basics that all dogs need like food, leash, collar etc.

4.  The golden's coat is perfect for water and it is sturdy yet soft and it comes manly in 2 different colors a golden color and a whiter color but there coat sheds a lot.  Golden’s have a wonderful stance it is very royal looking
