2 Content Area : Science Grade Level : 5 Summary : The purpose of this PowerPoint is to provide students with facts about plant and animal cells with a brief quiz after to challenge their knowledge. Learning Objective : Given a few facts about both plant and animals cells the student will be able to identify at least two or more structures from each with 100 % accuracy. Content Standard : GLE 0507.1.1 Distinguish between the basic structures and functions of a plant and animal cell.

Animal cells does not have a cell wall, chloroplast and plastids. Centrioles are present in all animal cells. One or more small vacuoles are present in animal cells.
