4. Eichold-Mertz Student Pledge I am a good person. I pledge to show respect to myself by following the rules, exercising self control, considering the rights of others, and taking pride in myself and Eichold-Mertz Elementary School.

5. THE CHARACTER WORD OF THE WEEK Our character word of the week is self-control. We need self-control to be responsible. It helps us stay in uniform, finish our work, keep a quiet line, and bring our homework to our teacher each day.

6. TODAY IN WILDCAT NEWS Third, fourth, and fifth grade Snow Cone Day is Friday. Snow Cones will cost $1. 50. Picture Day is Wednesday. Students must be in uniform. Coach Marsh is in the gym this week. Coach Mims will have 3,4,and 5 outside and K,1,and 2 inside.
