Relay For Life of Magic Island 2013 Event Kick Off SETTING THE RIGHT EXPECTATIONS: TD 2013 Action Plan (1 of 3) RECRUITMENT: To achieve our goal of recruiting 94 teams; 1,255 participants; 235 Survivors; 185 caregivers; $200,00 in fundraising; High Points in Post Event Surveys. DEVELOPMENT: Foster/Mentor Teams (phone; email; texts or social media). Empower TC to utilize online resources (TC Handbook or FB Page). Encourage TC to do online registration and online fundraising.

Relay For Life of Magic Island 2013 Event Kick Off SETTING THE RIGHT EXPECTATIONS: TD 2013 Action Plan (2 of 3) EXPERIENCE: (7 Main Areas) TC Meetings: Email blasts for meeting reminders; meeting notes on TC Corner; Be more visible in Social Media; New Format in meetings to be covered later. Committee Support: Provide training sessions to TC (registration/website/info). Registration Process: Online Chair/Support will be present at all TC Meetings to answer questions or mini training sessions. before the meeting itself. We are open to also do a virtual training session scheduled on a day/time based on the demand. Relay Website: Every Meeting will touch upon learning something new about using the resources available on the website.

I will have all contact info/social media URLS posted at the end. Recognition: We will do Relay RAH RAH!! at every TC Meeting; Unveil 2013 Relay Rewards Program; Event Awards at 2013 RFLMI Event Participant Experience: Having fun along the journey to Relay; Touching upon the human experiences; Education/Awareness; Raising Monies for ACS RETENTION: By achieving all of the above, this will lead to a positive participant experience overall. The result will be more teams registering for the 2014 event.

Team Accountability Every team will sign off on agreement to abide by City & County of Honolulu ordinances. Relay Rewards Incent teams to be invested and an active participant the months leading up to event. Will be covered in the upcoming slides.

Relay For Life of Magic Island 2013 Event Kick Off CHANGES IN TC Meeting Format 3 Different Meeting Types based around your schedule DROP IN Meeting: Need to drop off donations; Pick up more ACS Materials; Online Mini Training (offered between 6pm- 6:30pm) RALLY Meeting: In person face to face meeting for RFLMI info, updates, interactive session. (6:30-7:30pm) VIRTUAL Meeting: Powerpoint sent out via email day of meeting; Toll Free Conference Call Setup; Minimum 3 people needed. Reservation needed 48 hours prior. Relay For Life of Magic Island 2013 Event Kick Off RFL 2013 RELAY REWARDS PROGRAM (1 out of 3) Purpose: To incent teams in being more active and interactive on the months leading to RFLMI. This will be done in recognizing Team Activity and Fundraising. Based on Team Activity you will earn points that will earn you a place in the stack ranking. Based on Fundraising Monies you will also earn points that will earn you a place in the stack ranking. TD will merge both scores together to have a final stack ranking. The final standings will determine the order in which the teams choose the campsite tentatively scheduled for 1 st meeting in July. All reports will be run the night before the TC Meeting at 10:30pm. Stack Rankings to be released next day at TC Meeting.
